Casting Call for Mystery Dinner Theatre – Only those who like to have fun need apply!
Teens and adults – Try out your acting skills in a whodunnit at our Mystery Dinner Theatre fundraiser . “You Know the Old Slaying…” is the story of a traveling theatre group who just happens to be entertaining at the library when one of their actors is murdered! The audience must vote for who they think the murderer is, and the character with the most votes confesses. The play is written with five different endings, depending on who the audience chooses as the culprit.

Needed are fun-loving, amateur actor wannabees to play:

-the arrogant leading male, who fortunately becomes the victim

-the director, who tries to hold the show together and keep the “stars” apart

-the female lead, a former “big name” who is past her prime

-the young ingénue, sweet and naive

-the leading man’s understudy who is looking for his big chance to be #1

-the stage manager, taciturn and methodical, used to dealing with problems

If you are interested in joining in the most fun fundraiser ever, contact Lyn @ the library.
