Come read to one of our dogs: 
KACIE, a six-year-old lovable English Setter-Pointer mix.
BRINKLEY is a 10-year-old sweet, chocolate Labrador Retriever, as well as the Mascot for the Washington Area Humane Society!
ISABELLA, a beautiful 2.5 year-old Great Pyrenees mix!
SAXON is a 5-year-old gentle, highly trained, talented giant of a German Shepherd! 
BENTLEY, an empathetic, 7 year-old obedience trained beautiful Shetland Sheepdog!
JACK, a happy, lovable 5 year-old Dalmatian!
ANGEL, a sweet, beautiful Labrador with green eyes who also is a therapy dog!
ALEX, a sweet, highly trained yellow Labrador Retriever!
BENTLEY, a beautiful, hard-working, obedience titlest!
 and last but not least---LILY!

We are very fortunate to have these outstanding, lovable dogs
who listen to kids read!

They have formed their very own Reading Club!  The dogs love kids, and love to be read to. They enjoy all types of books: Curious George, Magic Tree House; whatever books YOU like, they will enjoy hearing you read!  The dogs will be supervised and overseen at ALL times by their owners. 

GCPL is signing up Canon-McMillan School District students, grades 1 thru 6. The Club will meet Mondays at the GCPL Resource Center in Cecil @ 6 PM.
